Yazdan BANAN was born in Tehran on August 28, 1928 to Jeanne FERET
and Mohsen BANAN. He was the youngest of three sons. His
eldest brother Jean MOHSEN (Yahya) was born in Bordeaux,
France in 1921 and Joseph (Yousef aka Youyou) MOHSEN-BANAN
was born in Tehran in 1924.

Yazdan's mother Jeanne FERET died in 1931 when Yazdan was 3
years old. Yazdan, Joseph and Jean went to Bordeax in
1932. They were in France during the 2nd World war.

Yazdan's father, Mohsen BANAN died in 1946. Yazdan came back to Iran
at age 18 and lived in Iran the rest of his life.

He worked for the Iranian Post, Telegraph and Telephone in the bureaux
of stamps museum.

In 1959, Yazdan married Arayesh NASSEH. They had two sons together
-- Mohsen and Daniel. They were separated in 1964.

Yazdan remarried in 1966 to Khadijeh MIRSAIDI. They had a daughter and
a son together -- Arghavan and Ardavan.

Later in his career, prior to the Iranian revolution, Yazdan worked
for a number of French companies in Tehran including Air France.

During his retirement, he traveled a fair amount, mostly to America
and France. All together he had 3 passports from 3 different continents.

Yazdan's grand children are: Darshi, Goli, Roya, Darian, Armaan and
Eideen.
